The government of Ontario just announced the cancellation of the Save on Energy Heating and Cooling Incentive Program (IESO) as of April 1st, 2019.

The Program is being discontinued pursuant to a directive received from the Minister of Energy, Northern Development and Mines, directing the IESO to discontinue the Conservation First Framework.

This program provided homeowners with rebates for energy efficient upgrades including $600 on an 18 SEER air conditioner, among other rebates, and it now ends April 1st, 2019.

What does this mean to you:

  • If we have provided you with a quotation or setup an appointment to do so, you only have a few days to book an air conditioner installation to qualify for the $600 rebate.

  • If you already have a signed work agreement with a participating contractor, and the work is completed by April 30th, you’ll still be eligible for these savings.

We will do everything possible to help existing customers navigate through the change in the program. If you are considering upgrading your equipment, please contact us to discuss your needs and we will match you to the best rebates available.
